It is our hope that this site will be of service to folks wanting to get information on MA’A, and our upcoming event.

On October 11 & 12 2008, MA'A is presenting a conference on "Body & Soil Health". This event is creating quite a stir! We are excited in bringing together four world experts that in their specific field understand, and will speak on, the inner relationship between
Body & Soil Health.

This year's event we will be hosting four world renowned speakers:
• Dr. Richard Olree author of "Minerals of the Genetic Code" and his soon to be released book: Minerals of Tumor Supressing Genes,

• Dr. Paul Hepperly, the Rodale Institute’s Research and Training Manager; expert on composting and cover crops,

• Bob Shaffer Big Island Organic farmer, expert soil consultant,

• Jerry Brunetti 2008 recipient of the highly respected (PASA)
Pennsyvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture award; an epert on human health and herd vitality.

The setting for the event is a Certified Organic Farm, which in to itself is beautiful and relaxing. Picture yourself up in that Maui mountain air. Having a special upcountry feeling of "no other place I'd rather be", listening to what is being presented or having something to eat while talking stories with other attendees at our food tent and diverse trade show. Whether you are a farmer, gardener, rancher or interested in a better quality of life, this conference is a platform for you to nourish, teach, learn, share, relax, exchange experiences and just be.

As part of the registration cost, attendees will be served an Organic spread of food that will nourish and remind us of what we want to see in our local food supply, in the support for sustainable production of food. These events that MA'A has put on since 2001, have been created to promote life nurturing practices for the body and the soil through education and outreach.

Everyone that comes is a part of something special and is encouraged to network with eachother, sharing their challenges, experiences and desires of what they want to see manifested on their farms, ranches, gardens and in their community.

So I again welcome you, to this site and please feel free to contact us with any questions or comments you may have. Main thing is getting your self up to our event 2008.

Aloha and A Hui Hou (see you soon) .
